Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Quit application ("App", "Service") operated by Markus Rau ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quit. By using the App you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have your parent's or guardian's permission.
Quit is a wellness application that helps you reduce social media usage and screen time. The App uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls) to measure app usage and apply daily limits. All usage data is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers.
You may create an account using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at getquit.app@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Quit offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Prices are in EUR and may vary by region according to the App Store pricing matrix. We reserve the right to change subscription prices; price changes take effect at the start of the next subscription period and you will be notified in advance.
New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial for Yearly Premium. The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends. You will not be charged during the free trial period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by going to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad and selecting Quit. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
If you reinstall the App or use it on a new device, you can restore your previous purchases by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the App.
Quit uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls framework. By granting the App Screen Time access, you authorize it to read your device usage data solely for the purpose of displaying and enforcing your personal daily limits. This data remains on your device and is never shared with us or third parties.

All content, design, graphics, and code in the App are owned by or licensed to Markus Rau and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MARKUS RAU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Germany.
